Jonathan’s Egg Fried Rice

You won’t believe how such a simple recipe can turn into something so heavenly. Instantly warming and bursting with flavour, this eggy rice is mouthwatering just on its own.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups/ 500mL Dainty Royal Rice, cooked (or leftover rice in the fridge)
  • 2 tbsp/ 30mL Canola Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp/ 30mL Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup/ 60mL Green Peas
  • large pinch of Sugar
  • pint of Salt
  • 2 spring Onions, chopped

Preparation

1.

Cook the Dainty Royal rice according to package instructions.

2.

In a wok or large pan, heat the canola oil and add the egg, whisking in the Wok.

3.

Add the cooked rice, fluffing continuously.

4.

Add the soy sauce, peas, sugar and salt.

5.

Before serving top with the freshly chopped spring onion
