Fragrant Garlic Chicken Rice

This is a simple meal in one, though your mum would probably say “where are your vegetables!” – shhh! we won’t tell her if you don’t!


  • 3 cups/ 750mL Dainty Conditioned Rice
  • 4 cups/ 1L Chicken Broth (preferably homemade)
  • 2 tbsp/ 30mL Sesame Oil
  • ½ cup/ 175mL Olive Oil
  • 1 Spring Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, crushed
  • 1 (approx.2 inch) piece fresh Ginger, crushed
  • 5 Chicken Thighs, de-boned & skinless
  • A pinch of kosher salt



Place all ingredients in the rice cooker. Cook.


Stir and serve.
